Today we are delighted to share some great news for Improbable and SpatialOS.
We have signed an agreement with NetEase, a leading Chinese Internet technology company, to begin a broad partnership to make and publish games built on SpatialOS, our cloud-based platform for game development.
We expect that this agreement will lead to Improbable opening an office in China and stepping up recruitment in our current offices to support this collaboration.
NetEase is without a doubt one of the biggest names in online gaming in the world. Not only does NetEase operate some of the biggest games produced by Western developers in China, it also entertains hundreds of millions of players on PC and mobile with games like Knives Out, Fantasy Westward Journey and Onmyoji. We welcome the opportunity to work with so many talented developers on building the next generation of online games.
We are hugely excited to collaborate with NetEase, and we are looking forward to telling you more about how we are working together in the future – look out for more information and updates later this year.
