London, February 18 2025 – Improbable is making a significant investment in the Somnia ecosystem, reinforcing its commitment
to the future of blockchain scalability and Web3 innovation. This comes on the heels of Somnia’s groundbreaking Devnet benchmarking tests, which demonstrated unprecedented performance capabilities. Somnia’s Devnet, tested in November 2024, showcased exceptional transaction processing capabilities, achieving across 100 nodes in multiple regions:
- 1.05 million transactions per second (tps) for ERC-20 token transfers.
- 300,000 NFT mints per second with an average block time of 100 milliseconds.
- 50,000 Uniswap trades per second, leveraging 100,000 accounts to simulate real-world
usage.
Following this milestone, Somnia’s Testnet is set to launch on February 20, marking the next step in its roadmap toward full-scale adoption.
